Overview
Amore Complex Care are seeking a Nurse-led team member to join as a Support Worker in Hoylake. This role supports a lady in her 50s with complex care needs.
Role: Female Support Worker
Location: Hoylake
Salary: £15.00 per hour
Shifts: 8 pm – 8 am (waking nights)

Key responsibilities- Competent verbal and written English
- Must have experience within health and social care settings
- Who am I? I am a social lady in my 50s with full mental capacity. I enjoy going to concerts and shows.
- What challenges do I have? I had a brain stem stroke, so I am paralysed from the neck down and have had locked-in syndrome in the past. I communicate by using eye gaze. I may require a tracheostomy, PEG feeding, stoma, catheter, and movement assistance via a hoist and wheelchair.
- How would I describe myself? I have a really good sense of humour and love a good laugh.
- What activities do I like to do? I enjoy going out in my car, going shopping, watching Netflix, and true crime programs.
- Where do I live? Hoylake, near the beach in a quiet area.
- How many people support me at one time? Supported on a 2:1 basis throughout the day.
- What kinds of people do I get along with? Those with good communication skills; I may need encouragement and reassurance to enjoy activities and maintain routines.
- Shift patterns? 8 pm – 8 am shifts.
- Aspirations? I like to go out with my staff to Costa, attend concerts and shows, and visit a local beer garden in the summer.
- 28 days annual leave inclusive of statutory bank holidays (full-time; part-time pro-rated)
