Interim Financial Controller

Your new role As Financial Controller, you will take full ownership of the site's financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, tight financial controls, and real-time visibility of manufacturing performance. You will lead the month‑end close, budgeting and forecasting cycles, and oversee cost accounting, inventory controls, and variance analysis. Acting as a key business partner to Operations, Supply Chain, and the Senior Leadership Team, you will provide insight on cost efficiency, margin improvement, and strategic decision‑making.

You'll also manage a small finance team and drive continuous process improvements across the plant. What you'll need to succeed Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with significant post‑qualification experience Strong background in manufacturing finance, including standard costing and variance analysis Proven ability to partner with operational stakeholders and influence decision‑making Excellent technical accounting skills combined with commercial acumen Experience managing and developing a team A proactive, hands‑on approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, detail‑driven environment What you'll get in return You'll join a respected and progressive organisation offering genuine autonomy and the opportunity to shape the financial direction of a key site.
