About the RoleConnex Education is working with a Primary School in Leasowe, Wirral, seeking a part-time Teaching Assistant to support in their after school club. You will be working with a variety of age groups from EYFS up to Year 6.
To be successful in this role, you will have excellent team leading skills, be sociable and friendly, calm and nurturing and able to plan and deliver excellent provision suited to a range of ages and interests.
It is essential that you have paediatric first aid training for this role.

Assignment DetailsYou would be working Monday – Friday, 5 days a week during after school hours (3:15pm – 6:15pm). There is some flexibility around start time if needed.
This is a long term assignment with the potential to be offered a permanent contract.

- A Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification is desirable; however, those with relevant school experience will also be considered.
- Paediatric first aid trained.
- GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above for both) or equivalent Level 2.
- Current DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one through Connex.

- Observant and reflective, able to recognise and respond to changes in behaviour or wellbeing.
- Awareness of safeguarding, confidentiality, and professional boundaries in a school setting.
- Committed to continuous personal development and open to feedback and training.
