What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a committed, compassionate and creative Teacher who can inspire young people who may not have thrived in mainstream settings.

Essential Skills & Qualities

Strong ability to engage and motivate learners
Passion for supporting students’ emotional and academic development
Experience working in a school environment (secondary experience an advantage)
Understanding of alternative provision and SEN
Excellent communication and professional conduct
Good working knowledge of English, Maths, or Science (Grade C/4 or above)
Commitment to equality, diversity, safeguarding and British Values
Strong problem-solving and time-management skills

Qualifications

QTS or QTLS preferred, or willingness to work towards it
Relevant degree in teaching subject (desirable)
SEN or specialist teaching qualifications (desirable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
