Reed Further Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Employability Tutor to deliver engaging and effective lessons for Level 1 Employability programmes. The successful candidate will act as a Functional Skills English or Maths tutor for two groups, supporting learners to develop essential skills for work and life. If you can also deliver GCSE Maths, this would be a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons for Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy programmes.
- Act as course tutor for two groups, providing pastoral and academic support.
- Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate records.
- Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Contribute to the development of learners' confidence, communication, and employability skills.
- Experience delivering Employability or similar vocational programmes.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage learners with diverse needs.
- Flexibility and commitment to learner success.
- Desirable:
Ability to teach GCSE Maths and English. - DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
