As a key member of our team, your duties will include:
- Curriculum Adaptation:
Tailoring the English curriculum and teaching methodologies to align with the specific requirements of each student. - Literacy Support:
Implementing and customising various literacy frameworks to drive student progress. - Creating a Positive Climate:
Cultivating a safe, supportive, and inclusive educational atmosphere. - Relationship Building:
Fostering strong, positive connections with students, parents, and fellow staff members. - Classroom Management:
Employing effective management skills to maintain a productive and focused learning environment.
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS):
Holding a QTS is a mandatory requirement. - Relevant
Experience:
A minimum of six months of experience in a similar role is essential. - Special Needs Expertise:
Experience teaching students with a range of special needs, including Autism, ADHD, Specific Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), is highly preferred. - Background Check:
You must possess an Enhanced DBS check or be prepared to apply for one. - Legal Right to Work:
You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
