About the role:We are excited to announce at Teaching Personnel that we are currently working with a thriving and welcoming school who are seeking a confident, friendly and passionate Teaching assistant to provide general cover to both KS1 classes. This will be a great opportunity for someone who is flexible and who has a drive for making a real difference to children’s educational journeys whilst also gaining new skills and experience to add to your professional development.
Yourresponsibilities will include:
- Supporting a class of KS1 pupils and offering any additional support as and when required.
- Supporting the classroom teacher with delivery of lessons and behaviour management.
- Be able to implement any appropriate strategies to aid engagement and focus within the classroom.
- Encouraging appropriate social interactions between the children to create a positive atmosphere.
- Be able to liaise with the class teacher and all other colleague within the school to ensure good flow of communication.

- Previous Experience working with Children or within a role with transferable skills.
- Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent (Desirable).

- Have patience, empathy and strong behaviour managements skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
