Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 behaviour support for a Year 2 pupil. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about making a positive impact on a child’s educational journey while also developing new skills to enhance their professional portfolio.

• Dedicated to identifying SEND needs at the earliest opportunity, working collaboratively with families and external agencies to provide the best support.

• Provide dedicated 1:1 Behaviours support to Year 2 pupil, focusing on their individual needs and development.
• Work closely with the SENCO, parents, and external agencies to ensure consistent and effective support strategies.
• Encourage positive educational and social interactions to help build confidence and independence.
• Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and adapt activities to meet the pupil’s needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to promote holistic pupil development and inclusion.

• Experience in similar roles such as support work with children.
• Experience of supporting children with additional needs.
• An understanding, patient and child-focused approach.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
• Minimum Qualification of GSCE C grade or Equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
