We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Behavioural Expert to join our dynamic team at an Alternative Provision school that supports pupils with a range of complex needs and especially challenging behaviours.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people who require tailored behavioural strategies and interventions.
- Develop and implement individualised behaviour support plans for students with challenging behaviours.
- Work closely with teachers, support staff, and external professionals to ensure a consistent and positive approach to behaviour management.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on effective behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniques.
- Monitor and review behavioural progress, adapting strategies as needed.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment for all pupils.
- Proven experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and challenging behaviours.
- Strong understanding of positive behaviour support and evidence-based interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage complex situations effectively.
- Relevant qualifications in psychology, behaviour analysis, or SEN education (desirable).
