Prospero Teaching are supporting friendly and well‑resourced primary schools across the Wirral who are looking to appoint a full‑time KS2 Teacher for long‑term roles starting in January. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Key Stage 2 practitioner who enjoys delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils as they develop confidence, independence and strong academic foundations.

As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering creative, well‑structured lessons across the KS2 curriculum. You’ll work closely with senior leaders and classroom support staff to create a positive learning environment where pupils feel supported, challenged and motivated to succeed. Schools are looking for committed teachers who can maintain high expectations while building strong, supportive relationships with pupils.

• Planning and delivering high‑quality lessons across the KS2 curriculum
• Creating an engaging, inclusive and supportive classroom environment
• Assessing, tracking and reporting on pupil progress
• Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development
• Working effectively with teaching assistants and support staff
• Encouraging positive behaviour and clear classroom routines
• Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

• Supportive and welcoming staff teams
• Strong focus on pupil well‑being and achievement
• Well‑equipped classrooms and engaging learning spaces
• Schools located across Birkenhead, Wallasey, Heswall and the wider Wirral

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
• Confident, enthusiastic and able to deliver engaging lessons
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Reliable, proactive and committed to high standards
• Good understanding of safeguarding and primary school policies
