Construction Sub Agent, Civil Engineering

Position: Sub Agent (Contract)
Sub Agent – Marine Civils (Dock/Port Scheme)
Birkenhead
£300–£400 per day

Duration: 10 months

We are currently seeking an experienced Sub Agent to join a major dock/port marine civils project based in Birkenhead. This is a long-term freelance opportunity on a high-profile marine infrastructure scheme.

Key Responsibilities:

Day-to-day management of junior engineers and setting out engineers

Overseeing and reviewing setting out works

Managing and compiling as-built surveys

Preparation, review, and implementation of RAMS

Ensuring works are delivered in line with quality assurance procedures

Supporting the Site Agent with programme and site coordination

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Sub Agent on marine civils / heavy civils projects

Strong engineering and site management background

SMSTS (essential)

CSCS card (essential)

Ability to manage engineers and maintain high QA standards

Available to start immediately
