Nursery Assistant

Overview

Excell Supply is currently recruiting for a Nursery Assistant to support children in an outstanding private day nursery in Bromborough. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive community on an ongoing basis which then may turn into a permanent position.

• Support childrens learning and development through play-based activities
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment
• Assist with daily routines including meals, hygiene, and nap times
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Follow safeguarding, health, and safety policies at all times
• Support staff with observations and record keeping where required

• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic attitude
• A genuine passion for working with young children
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Relevant childcare qualification (preferred but not essential)
• Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting is desirable
• Willingness to undertake safeguarding checks and training

As members of the REC (Recruitment & Employment Confederation) and Umbrella body to the DBS, (Disclosure & Barring Service) Excell Supply is committed to the safeguarding and welfare of children.
