The Education Network is currently recruiting a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a supportive school setting in Bingley.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping them to access learning, develop independence, and achieve their full potential.
The Role:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND
Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
Support pupils with EHCPs and additional learning needs
Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience working with children or young people with SEND
A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant) desirable but not essential
