Compensation& Benefits
$17 / hr plus overtime (8 + hours per week). Full benefits package includes paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, holiday pay, flexible spending accounts, annual profit sharing, 401(k) with employer match, and discounts on building materials.
Job Title:Full‑time Truck Driver
The full‑time Truck Driver is responsible for delivering material to customer job sites, forklift operation, and maintaining the lumber yard and warehouse.
Responsibilities- Build and load freight, including lumber and building supplies, for delivery.
- Operate a forklift (training and certification required).
- Maintain a safe, clean and well‑organized lumber yard and warehouse.
- Communicate delays or discrepancies with management.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Read and speak English well enough to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and record reports.
- Safely operate the assigned commercial motor vehicle.
- Provide an annual true and correct copy of your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and list of violations or the certificate required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act.
- Be physically qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle in accordance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act.
- Not be disqualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle under the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act.
- Complete or have completed a driver’s road test and have been issued a valid and current certificate of driver’s road test.
- Depending on the truck and/or hauler, you may need a commercial motor vehicle license.
- Depending on the truck and/or hauler, you may need a valid and current Medical Exam certificate or card.
- High school diploma or GED.
