Job Description

Garda World Security Services is now hiring a Surveillance Security Officer in Binghamton. The role requires a sharp eye and strong observation skills to monitor security systems and spot threats before they escalates.

• Schedule:
  
  Weekdays, shifts from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm (12‑hour shifts).
• Competitive hourly wage of $19.57 / hour.

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure safety of premises.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitor identities.
• Analyze security systems to identify vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies.
• Ensure safety and protection of individuals and property.

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of security experience.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Experience with surveillance systems or access control.
• Coordinate with team during emergencies; strong report‑writing skills.
• Good eyesight and ability to maintain focus.
• Strong proficiency with technology.
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is a plus.
• New York Security License required.
