• Conduct theoretical and computational investigations of attosecond science and quantum light–matter interactions in atomic, molecular, or condensed‑matter systems.
• Develop and apply theoretical/computational methods to model and interpret strong‑field quantum‑light‑driven phenomena.
• Publish results in peer‑reviewed journals and present at scientific conferences.
• Mentor graduate and undergraduate students.
• Collaborate with experimental and theoretical partners within and outside the group.

• PhD in Physics, Chemistry, or a closely related field by February 15, 2026.

• Research background in theoretical ultrafast AMO or ultrafast condensed‑matter physics.
• Experience with computational modeling and ab‑initio quantum dynamics.
• Experience with large‑scale code development and running computations on HPC clusters.
• Familiarity with full quantum description of light–matter interactions.
• Experience collaborating with experimentalists.
