** Day
* * Compensation Range:**$33.63 - $50.45 per hour, depending on experience
** You will be eligible for benefits if you are hired into a regular position with at least 24 scheduled weekly hours.**-----#

* Job Responsibilities:
*** Promote and protect patient health through prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and advocacy in alignment with the NY State Nurse Practice Act, UHS policies, ANA Standards, and patient rights.
* Foster a caring, healing environment that supports patient-centered care for individuals and families.
* Coordinate clinical training, orientation, and ongoing evaluation of clinical staff, ensuring completion of required competencies at hire and annually.
* Collaborate with unit coordinators to manage clinical schedules and ensure appropriate staffing and support.
* Provide clinical leadership by overseeing the scope of practice for LPNs and Medical Assistants within the outpatient setting.
* Triage and assess patients promptly to identify early signs of complications and initiate timely interventions.
* Educate patients and families on health promotion, disease management, and available resources.
* Safely administer medications following UHS policies, maintaining strong pharmacological knowledge.
* Maintain CLIA Waived Lab compliance, perform testing, and oversee proficiency validation, including lab quality controls and credentialing.
* Participate in performance improvement initiatives, regulatory compliance efforts, and ongoing staff education to support quality patient care and operational excellence.# #

* Job Qualifications:
**** Minimum
Required:
*** Graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing.
* At least 1 year experience in health care setting with evidence of having obtained proficiency in those areas emphasized in the Registered Nurse curriculum.
* Current NY State RN license.
* Documentation of current CPR certification required within 1 week of start of employment.
** Preferred:
*** Previous experience in a walk in / primary care/ specialty care setting.
