Job specification

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the SSU, including assessment, monitoring, medication administration, and discharge education

• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure smooth transitions of care

• Document and chart effectively using Epic EHR system

• Maintain clinical standards and safety protocols in a fast-paced surgical recovery setting

Candidate requirements

• Active RN license in New York

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Surgical Short Stay Unit (SSU) or a similar surgical unit

• BLS certification required
