Department Description: Seton 3 at Lourdes Hospital is a 19-bed surgical post-op floor specializing in colorectal, vascular, urological, and gastric bypass surgeries. Our nurses are ACLS certified (though not required to start) and are part of the code team.

Position Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional, comprehensive nursing care in an acute care environment. Responsible for delivering coordinated, safe, compassionate, evidence-based care to patients and families, tailored to their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Practices in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code of Ethics, and applicable standards. Essential functions include assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, advocacy, fostering learning, ensuring safety, and engaging in professional development.

Education, License & Certification:

• Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• BSN preferred.
• Specialty certification preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS and PALS are unit dependent.

Experience: At least one year of nursing experience or less if transitioned from NLRN Program. Must meet unit-specific educational requirements and maintain BLS certification; ACLS and PALS depend on the unit.

Other Duties: Proficiency in IT systems, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to manage multiple responsibilities, and a positive attitude are essential.

Pay range: $37.50 - $53.06 per hour.
