The CNC Operator III is a key member of the Elliott Manufacturing Machine Shop department. Under little to no supervision, the CNC Operator III will program, operate and implement machine processes while maintaining company safety and quality expectations. The role also involves managing inventory, keeping accurate production records, performing TPMs on equipment, troubleshooting problems, and training less skilled operators.

• Independently set up, operate and program various CNC machines with proficiency across multiple competencies.
• Detect and troubleshoot system malfunctions, taking measurements, adjusting controls, and reprogramming machines.
• Develop and refine manufacturing methods, reduce machining time through process improvements, and advise maintenance of any machine issues.
• Maintain paperwork for CNC machines and other shop operations.
• BMP {Upload/download programs using DNC software; mazatrol controls is a plus}.
• Use inspection tools and understand blueprints and tolerances.
• Provide training and mentorship to other operators.
• Be prepared to work overtime and produce production runs as required.
• Demonstrate a high standard of work ethics, self‑sufficiency, and team orientation.
• Perform other.l duties assignedקד by Supervisor or Manager.

• 5+ years of machine shop experience with specialized training or certifications.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
• Team player with Colourful interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong written and oral communication and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Compensation: $25‑$35/hour depending on experience and qualifications
