We are looking for a Facility Tech to support a critical industrial campus that has several data centers on site. The Facility Tech will monitor compliance with contractual commitments and direct technical and administrative tasks related to operating the campus, supporting infrastructure, and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. The data center on campus operates 24/7/365.

• Troubleshoot and run diagnostics, conduct preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on facilities equipment within the data center and on-site buildings according to schedule
• Support plumbing, mechanical, pipe fitting, welding, coil brazing, rebuilding pumps, basic mechanical system servicing, low-voltage electrical repairs, and general maintenance
• Collaborate with sub-contractors and vendors when necessary
• Operate and perform routine and emergency service on systems including critical power (low/medium voltage switch gear), diesel generators, paralleling switchboards, UPS, PDU, and building monitoring systems
• Ensure that operational, maintenance, and emergency methods of procedure (MOPs and SOPs) are developed and strictly adhered to
• Assist with CMMS database management when needed

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Facilities Operations with Electrical and Mechanical/HVAC equipment such as UPS, Generators, Switchgears, PDU's, CRAC Units, DC Power Systems, CRAH Units, Chillers, Air handling units, computer-grade cooling systems, and building monitoring/control systems
• Experience operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining mechanical and/or electrical support systems
• Familiarity with maintenance and repairs using tools such as pipe threaders, hydraulic presses, welders, grinders, oxy-acetylene torches, multimeters, etc.
• Military experience is a huge plus (e.g., Navy Nukes, EMN, ETN, MMNs, Seabees; Army Power Generation; Air Force Power Production; Generator Techs; Maritime; Coast Guard)
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Experience working with various computer systems and applications
