There is more than one location associated with this position. This is either because there are multiple openings at different sites, or the successful candidate will be required to float across multiple UHS facilities. Your recruiter and hiring manager will clarify expectations during the interview process.

Primary Work Shift: Day

Regular Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Compensation Range: $40.70 - $61.05 per hour, depending on experience

What You’ll Do
  • Conduct compensation analyses to support salary offers, promotions, and internal equity reviews.
  • Benchmark jobs using market survey data and recommend salary grades and ranges.
  • Maintain and update compensation structures, job descriptions, and salary guidelines.
  • Assist in developing and administering incentive and variable pay programs.
  • Support annual compensation planning processes, including merit increases and market adjustments.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws (e.g., FLSA, pay transparency).
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition on compensation matters.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards to communicate trends and insights to leadership.
  • Participate in compensation surveys and analyze results to inform strategy.
  • Support special projects such as pay equity studies and system implementations.
  • Utilize strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and HRIS systems (Workday is a plus).
  • Leverage familiarity with compensation survey tools (e.g., Payfactors) and Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data modeling) for efficiency.
  • Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

What We’re Looking For

Education and Experience

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, Finance, or related field; CCP certification a plus
  • 3–5 years of experience in compensation analysis, preferably in a healthcare setting

Preferred:

  • Experience with job evaluation methodologies and salary structure design
  • Knowledge of healthcare job families and regulatory requirements

License/Certification

  • Preferred:
    Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
