Radiology - Ultrasound​/Sonographer

The position is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break. The technologist will perform 4 outpatient echocardiograms in the morning and 4 in the afternoon.

The Adult Echocardiogram Technologist is responsible for providing timely, accurate, and reliable Cardiology services to both inpatients and outpatients. The primary duties include performing cardiac ultrasound exams and interpreting preliminary reports to ensure proper evaluation and treatment of patients.

• Perform cardiac ultrasound exams, including 2D, M-mode, Doppler color, TEE, and stress echo.
• Interpret exams for preliminary reports, identifying critically abnormal findings and notifying the physician.
• Clean and disinfect TEE probes following infection control standards.
• Record and report the results of all procedures accurately.
• Respond to requests for "stat/emergency echoes" as needed.
• Maintain precise records and abide by service delivery standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI is required.
• BLS Certification from AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross.
• Experience in adult outpatient clinic settings is preferred.
