Quality Assurance Specialist

Overview

The Children's Home of Wyoming Conference partners with children, families and communities throughout New York State to inspire hope, develop skills and cultivate healthy relationships for positive futures.

The Quality Assurance Specialist reports to the Performance Quality Improvement Auditor/COA Lead. The role is to manage Agency and State systems for documentation that promotes quality communication and understanding of service provisions. The specialist works closely with clinical program leads to train staff in documentation and ensure expectations are met, and collaborates with auditors, program administrators, and supervisors to meet program needs.

• Review and transfer all applicable notes ensuring documentation requirements are met.
• Maintain accurate and professional documentation standards on all cases.
• Provide ongoing documentation support to staff as needed.
• Communicate with program directors and county leaders on a regular basis.
• Assist directors and leads with preparation for chart reviews and audits.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience and positive work qualities considered equivalent to education requirements.
• Experience working in multiple computer systems preferred.
