MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teach and supervise high school students at varying academic levels, both in academic and performance skills, to prepare them for either college or entry-level work in the Emerging Energy field.
- Experience with the fundamentals of technical support including:
- Solar Panels
- Lithium-Ion Battery production
- Battery Cell technology
- Micro Soldering
- Clean Energy
- Battery Cell Technology
Instruction will include integrated academics in English, Math, and Science.
Implement inquiry-based learning projects and project-based learning.
Prepare students for co-ops and job shadows in the field.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- NYS Certification as an Electrical Electronic Technology CTE Teacher OR
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 1 year of field experience in Electrical Electronic Maintenance and repair OR
- Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering with 2 years of field experience in Electrical Electronic Maintenance and repair OR
- High school diploma with 4 years of field experience as specified above.
