Position:

- Prioritize borrowing and document delivery and move to lending as time allows.
- Process interlibrary loan borrowing requests, verify citations, search libraries’ databases and other bibliographic utilities, and submit ILL purchase on demand requests to supervisor.
- Maintain Borrowing and Document Delivery workflows by acting as a point of contact for the ILLiad Staff and Customization Managers; oversee maintenance of the Customization Manager, regularly reviewing and updating email templates, routing rules, and departments; implement regular updates to Custom Holdings groups/path in ILLiad/OCLC, Borrowing and Document Delivery documentation, printable documents.
- Process interlibrary loan lending and document delivery requests, including retrieving items from stacks, scanning articles, and loaning physical items.
- Provide exemplary direct customer service, including assisting with access to resources and making appropriate referrals via phone, email, chat, ticketing system, and the like.
- Contribute to accessioning and deaccessioning and inventory processes for the Collection Management Facility during slow periods; provide routine reports and solutions when requested by supervisor.
- Perform inventory of the print collection at various locations as time allows.
- Participate in a work culture that promotes diversity and anti‑racism and actively works to eliminate or mitigate the effects of systemic racism and bias.
- Participate in Library and University committees as appropriate.
- Bachelor's Degree (or higher).
- Experience working with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace applications for communication and productivity.
- Ability to work effectively with a variety of people in a busy office setting.
- Experience working in libraries.
- Experience with library software such as Alma or ILLiad.
- Understanding of the importance of confidentiality of library records.
