Overview
The Children s Home of Wyoming Conference partners with children, families and communities throughout New York State to inspire hope, develop skills and cultivate healthy relationships for positive futures. $19-20 an hour.
Position Summary: The Painter will help keep residential and office spaces clean and safe. They will repair and patch needed areas. They will prepare work area and tape as needed. They will paint, then clean up after the work is complete. This person should be comfortable working with a diverse group of people, including youth and other employees. The painter s work will help create a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for all who use the building.
Responsibilities- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to work with clients, families, staff, and community contacts with a diversity of backgrounds and life situations.
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with required procedures and regulations
- Perform basic repairs, patch, prepare work area and surface, tape, and paint
- Identify and report the need for repairs
- Maintain accurate electronic records of supplies and documentation of work
- Attend all meetings and trainings as assigned.
Education: High School Diploma / GED required
Experience- Will require travel to all counties served by Children s Home (in agency vehicle) required
- Will require lifting (50 lbs.), climbing ladders, pushing, and pulling
- Experience strongly preferred
- Driver s License and ability to maintain insurability throughout employment required
