Overview

XCOMM Cyber Instructor/Developer - Journeyman role at JBW Federal. This position supports the 39th Information Operations Squadron (39 IOS) from Keesler AFB, MS.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Augment and support the Government in course planning and development, including formal training courses, lessons, and related courseware. Develop curriculum IAW Master Training Task List (MTTL) and Training Task List (TTL) requirements and audit/edit courseware for accuracy, completeness, flow, balance, and clarity of understanding, IAW 39 IOS SOPs/Instructions/OIs, ACC Instructions, and Joint Directives.
  • Provide documentation for design, development, revision, and administration of FTU training.
  • Utilize the ISD ADDIE Model, Bloom’s taxonomy (or SAMR Model as applicable) for all course development.
  • Assist in Training Systems Requirements Analysis (MTA, TRA, OMA, TSBA).
  • Provide instructional strategies, methods, media analysis, and syllabus/course map.
  • Assist in analyzing tasks in operation and maintenance of course materials and produce an MTTL for each mission area.
  • Analyze Task Analysis Worksheets to ensure training requirements are derived and aligned with TTL, knowledge, qualifications, and abilities (KSA).
  • Collaborate with colleges, universities, industry, or government to identify and implement new information for specific courses.
  • Review guidance, technical documents, and manuals to enable government personnel to utilize training systems in instruction.
  • Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, student feedback, and planning direction; recommend changes to improve curriculum.
  • Work with internal and external SMEs to incorporate new material into courseware.
  • Develop new training programs and curriculum updates using ADDIE; assist in Spiral Development Cycle (SDC).
  • Audit feedback to ensure currency, consistency, and quality of course material.
  • Coordinate and prepare responses to internal and external directives and documents pertaining to training.
  • Operate an LMS (e.g., Moodle, Question Mark) to build, deploy questions, schedule tests, manage classes, and analyze test metrics.
  • Perform curriculum quality assurance audits on 39 IOS managed lessons per COR/Alternate COR direction.
  • Assist in authoring cognitive and performance objectives and test questions; review curriculum for grammar, format, and classification IAW SOPs/Instructions/OIs and directives.
  • Provide courseware documentation support for courseware developers; update Master Course File documents, illustrations, and handouts as part of the SDC.
  • Provide user/test administration and critique management within the test and critique system; provide test proctoring and assess student performance.
  • Assess and update student evaluation results IAW SOPs/Instructions/OIs and directives.
  • Develop and deliver lesson plans, instructor notes, lesson tests, and student materials within the government timeframe as outlined by SOPs and templates.
  • Plan, design, and develop e-learning products for inclusion in the LMS.
  • Assist in creating mission simulator virtual environments for training missions and evaluation tests.
  • Assist in records management duties as required.
What

Required Qualifications You'll Bring
  • Associate's degree or higher (preferably in a STEM-related field)
  • 4–6 years of expeditionary/tactical communications experience or equivalent
  • IAT/M Level II certification
  • Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP)
  • Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS occasionally; must have a current passport or be able to obtain within 60 days of employment
  • Security clearance:
    Secret
