Overview

Trailer Mechanic/Technician at Laurel Trading Post, Inc. Immediate opening. Duties include setup and pre-delivery inspections of new trailers. Recondition preowned trailers to meet our standards of quality and safety. Tasks involve trailer repairs and service including wiring, brakes, and bearings. Tools are provided and on-the-job training to help you develop your skills. The role requires participation in general maintenance and tidying of the shop, promoting a safe and efficient working environment.

Forklift and skid steer operation is a plus. A valid driver’s license is required.

• Perform setup and pre-delivery inspections of new trailers
• Recondition preowned trailers to meet quality and safety standards
• Repair and service trailers (wiring, brakes, bearings)
• Maintain shop safety and cleanliness
• Assist with forklift and skid steer operations as needed

• Valid driver’s license required
• Experience with trailer repairs and general mechanical maintenance
