Location: Billings, Montana

JM Test Systems is looking to expand our technical team in Billings, MT! We have openings for Technician Level I, II, and III — each with distinct responsibilities and growth opportunities. Whether you’re just starting your technical career or are an experienced professional, we want to hear from you.
Technician Level I – Entry-Level TechnicianRole:
- Perform basic equipment setup, maintenance, and testing under supervision
- Assist senior technicians with routine calibrations and repairs
- Follow safety procedures and quality standards
- Learn company processes, equipment, and documentation systems
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work safely
- Basic computer skills
Role:
- Independently perform calibrations, repairs, and equipment testing
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues
- Maintain accurate records and complete job documentation
- Support training and mentoring of Level I technicians
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of relevant technical experience or equivalent training
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of calibration tools and electronic/mechanical systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Role:
- Lead complex calibrations, repairs, and troubleshooting for specialized equipment
- Manage onsite projects and communicate status to customers and management
- Mentor junior technicians and provide technical guidance
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
- Assist with process improvements and technical training programs
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of technical experience in calibration, repair, or related fields
- Advanced knowledge of test equipment and industry standards
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
