Metropolis Technologies invites applications for a Parking Cashier position. The role is part of our SP+ division, which delivers checkout‑free parking experiences through computer vision technology.
OverviewSP+ is the largest parking network in America, operating across over 4,000 locations. We are reinventing parking to offer seamless, time‑saving experiences for customers.
Responsibilities- Provide a stress‑free, welcoming experience for each customer.
- Attend work shifts on time in uniform, ready to assist.
- Count the revenue bank at shift start to verify starting total.
- Collect cash, validations, and maintain cash security.
- Make change and issue receipts or tickets.
- Calculate customer charges from parking tickets.
- Operate cash register, display transaction cost, and manage quotes for parking services.
- Give directions to city locations and help customers reach their destination.
- Complete lost ticket forms when original tickets are missing.
- Resolve customer complaints quickly; involve supervisor if needed.
- Answer phone calls courteously.
- Keep booth clean and dispose of trash.
- Check inventory of supplies needed in the booth.
- Verify shift log against revenue bank.
- Compile daily revenue bank after reaching predetermined amount.
- Record transaction details for shift report.
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.
Education / Experience: Less than high school education or up to one month related experience or training.
Availability: Must be able to work second and third shifts and weekends as required.
License: Valid state‑issued driver’s license if duty requires operating company vehicles.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and make change.
Language
Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, write basic correspondence, and present information clearly to customers and coworkers.
Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense to follow written or oral instructions and solve problems with few variables.
Other
Skills:
Use of clock, calculator, or credit‑card machine; pleasant demeanor on phone; adept at resolving customer issues.
Physical Demands: Regular sitting, handling objects, and occasional walking; requires good vision and reaching with arms.
Salary$14.00 per hour
