Food Unit Lead

Overview

We are hiring immediately for full time FOOD UNIT LEAD positions at Billings Public Schools.

Location:

101 North 10th Street West, Billings, MT 59102.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 6:00 am – 2:00 pm. Pay Range: $16.43 per hour to $18.00 per hour. Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available.

• Coordinates activities of other food-service employees. Creates an enjoyable dining experience for customers, staff and visitors.
• Provides quality customer service and ensures compliance with presentation, sanitation, safety and portion control standards.
• Trains employees; assigns and coordinates work to promote efficiency and excellence in food and service.
• Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules and expedites workflow.
• Manages daily/weekly/monthly reporting (inventory, cash, production records, payroll, and timekeeping) and proper cash handling per policy.
• Orders food and supplies from approved sources; directs sanitation and safety practices in the facility.
• Develops sanitation schedules and ensures adherence for cleaning of kitchen and dining areas and equipment.
• Assists in menu planning and staff orientation/training in areas of responsibility.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Previous kitchen manager experience required.
