Full-Time Medication Technician

The Springs at Grand Park, a premier senior housing community in Billings, is seeking a Full-Time Medication Technician. As the Med Tech, you are responsible for administering or assisting residents to self‑administer medications and treatments. Measure vital signs, weight, and remain observant of any problems and report such problems to a supervisor. You are also responsible for communicating with physicians, implementing physicians' orders, reporting and documenting pertinent information, and other duties as assigned by the health services supervisor.

Additionally, Medication Technicians work as the on‑floor supervisor. We are looking for folks with a proven ability to lead teams.

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
• Monitor, document, and report changes in residents’ health or behavior
• Perform delegated tasks such as blood sugar testing or insulin administration (as assigned)
• Maintain proper storage and management of medications
• Take and record vital signs
• Communicate with nurses, physicians, and pharmacies to ensure continuity of care
• Act as a leader and point person during your shift, including responding to emergencies
• Maintain a clean, organized medication room and accurate documentation
• Collaborate closely with caregivers and other team members to support resident well‑being

• Previous experience in a Med Tech role
• A passion for serving seniors and making a difference every day
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Previous Med Tech experience and familiarity with EMAR systems
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment background check and drug screening

• Ability to stand / walk up to eight hours per day
• Must be able to lift / push up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to lift, stand, bend, squat, crawl, reach, and kneel using good body mechanics for sustained periods of time
