American Traveler is seeking a Travel Nurse RN Oncology Med Surg position in Billings, Montana. The assignment begins 03/08/2026 and lasts 13 weeks, requiring 36 hours per week (12‑hour night shifts, 3 days per week). The role is a travel assignment and requires an active MT or compact RN license.

• The position is based in an acute oncology unit within a hospital setting.
• Work 12‑hour night shifts, 3 days per week, totaling 36 hours per week.
• Use Epic EMR for charting and documentation.
• May be required to float to other departments based on business needs.
• On‑call duties may be needed during regularly scheduled shifts.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for oncology patients.
• Provide health teaching, counseling, execute delegated medical functions, and refer patients as needed.
• All documentation must follow hospital and regulatory guidelines using Epic.
• Prior permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible.
• Background check and drug screen must be completed within two weeks; candidates should report to the lab within 24 hours of commitment.

• Active MT or compact RN license (no pending licenses).
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Oncology experience.
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN minimum; BSN preferred).
• Current AHA BLS certification (must not expire before start date).
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS as appropriate for the unit.
• Provide date of birth and last four digits of SSN for consideration.
