Locals are not accepted (must be 75+ miles from the facility)
Description:
The CVOR RN will work a day shift schedule of 0645 to 1715.
Candidates must have experience with heart, thoracic, vascular, and hybrid cases.
General OR RN experience is required; candidates who can only perform CVOR will not be considered.
Experience in handling Coronary Artery Bypass Grafts (CABG), Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps (IABP), Ventricular Assist Devices (LVAD/RVAD), and MAZE procedures is essential.
Knowledge of Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacements (TAVR), lobe resections, thoracotomies, VATS, and various vascular procedures is important.
Candidates must be comfortable working in a Level 1 Trauma Center environment.
The position requires a strong background in surgical services and a comprehensive understanding of cardiovascular procedures.
This role involves working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced surgical setting.
Strong clinical skills and the ability to provide high-quality patient care during complex cardiovascular surgeries are essential.
