Position Overview

A 300-bed Level II Trauma Center has engaged Nealy Pierce to support the recruitment of a permanent Director of Nursing to oversee Senior Services. This organization is an award-winning, non-profit community hospital that manages some of the highest acuity patient populations in the state. Guided by Magnet principles and grounded in evidence-based practice, the hospital offers an exceptional opportunity for a Director of Nursing who values clinical excellence, disciplined leadership, and a strong culture of patient-centered care.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced RN leader who exemplifies servant leadership, prioritizes quality outcomes, and seeks meaningful organizational support.

Direct strategic and operational leadership for a 64-bed Senior Services department, including a 32-bed memory care unit and a 32-bed long-term care unit. Report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer. Oversee daily operations, professional practice standards, staffing, performance management, and the advancement of departmental goals to ensure delivery of high-quality patient care.

• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher is required
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse
• Demonstrated leadership capability with a willingness to learn and grow
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills
• Med/Surg, LTAC, Skilled or Assisted Living experience preferred
• CMSRN or GERO-BC certifications are a plus
