About this role.

As a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in our Trauma services team you'll work with 4 additional APPs, to provide safe patient care and high-quality patient experiences cent. Throughout the day you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with excellent support staff and you'll have onsite resources readily available.

• You would practice at our Intermountain Health:
  St Vincent Regional Hospital.

• Our APP team provides 24-hr/365 days of coverage cent.

• Primary scope is the managing of patients that have been admitted to trauma and acute care services.

• Excellent collaboration amongst the trauma and general surgeons.

• Responds to trauma activations in the ED (assists).

• Potential for flexible schedule. Teams tends to work 12 hour or 24 hour shifts and the team self schedules.

• EPIC EMR utilization (system-wide).

• Excellent opportunity for mentorship, professional growth, and plenty of program support. Great team dynamic!

• The hospital is a Level 1 Trauma Center, a Certified Stroke Center, and an accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI. The OR includes one hybrid and one biplane operating suite.

What youll bring.

• An active Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) License by the MT State Board.

• Prescriptive Authority by the MT state board of Nursing or Medical Examiners and DEA License.

• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.

• ACLS Certification within 6 months of employment (site specific).

• Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to successfully function in a fast paced, service oriented environment.

• Experience in understanding and usage of computers, including Microsoft and Google products. The ability to learn new applications relevant to your position

• Passion for inpatient medicine.

• Has to be open to working day and night shifts in the same month.

• Experience preferred.
