About this role.

As a Pediatric Hospitalist Physician Assistant PA or Nurse Practitioner NP, youll work collaboratively with 3 additional hospital APPs and 2 Pediatric Hospitalist physicians, to provide safe patient care and high-quality patient experiences. Throughout your shift you'll have the opportunity to partner with ICU, care and case management, ED, and strong support staff.

In this role, you can anticipate:

  • Flexible schedule, mix of day and night shifts, 9 shifts on average per month, average 12 hour shifts.

  • EPIC EMR utilization (system-wide)

  • The hospital is a Level 1 Trauma Center, Certified Stroke Center and an accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI. The OR includes one hybrid and one biplane operating suite.

What youll bring.

  • An active Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) License by the MT State Board.

  • Prescriptive Authority by the MT state board of Nursing or Medical Examiners and DEA License.

  • Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.

  • ACLS Certification within 6 months of employment (site specific).

  • Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to successfully function in a fast paced, service oriented environment.

  • Experience in understanding and usage of computers, including Microsoft and Google products. The ability to learn new applications relevant to your position

  • Experience in pediatrics and/or in-patient care is preferred.

  • Passion for pediatrics and in-patient care, willingness to work a blend of days and nights.
