Licensed Practical Nurse; LPN

Primary

Purpose:

The LPN ensures the highest quality of resident care, supports staff, and establishes a positive reputation while delivering on Eduro Healthcare Values of wellness, compassion, customer experience, and company results.

• Taking and monitoring patient vital signs
• Assisting patients with eating, dressing, and bathing
• Administering medication
• Communicating changes in patient behavior or health status to nurses, physicians, and family members
• Maintaining accurate patient records
• Collecting specimen samples when needed
• Taking an active part in patient care planning
• Preparing patients for transfers or discharge
• Assisting in medical procedures
• Managing emergency medical situations

• Must have a valid LPN license in good standing
• Successful completion of a training and competency evaluation program required
• Completion of orientation required by company policy
• Health screening and TB test (if required) within two weeks of employment
• Mandatory drug test within 90 days of hire
• Must be free of criminal activity proven by a criminal background check
• Show within three (3) days of hire satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment
• High school diploma or equivalent
