Job Description

• Safely provide anesthesia to surgical patients for a variety of operations and/or procedures.
• Administer pain medication and anesthesia before, during, and after surgery.
• Consult and collaborate with the entire surgical care and interdisciplinary team for patient care planning.
• Conduct comprehensive preoperative evaluations to assess patient medical history, physical condition, and anesthesia risks.
• Review laboratory results, imaging studies, and diagnostic information to determine appropriate anesthesia plans.
• Develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans based on patient needs and surgical requirements.
• Administer general, regional, or local anesthesia as required.
• Continuously monitor patients’ vital signs and anesthesia depth during procedures.
• Manage airway and respiratory support as necessary throughout the surgical process.
• Provide care in the post‑anesthesia recovery unit, monitoring patients’ recovery and managing any immediate postoperative complications.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain routine equipment cleanliness and perform required organizational compliance education for Joint Commission Healthcare Staffing Services certification or other regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

• Current, full, active, and unrestricted CRNA license in any U.S. State, Territory, or Commonwealth (including Puerto Rico) or the District of Columbia.
• BE/BC by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) preferred.
• Three or more years’ experience as a CRNA, including at least 18 months within the last year.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Preference for experience on a military site as a government subcontractor or prime contractor.

• Master’s degree in Nurse Anesthesia from an accredited program.

• Must meet pre‑deployment physical requirements.
• Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 25 lbs.

• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Card required.
• Valid U.S. Passport with at least six months before expiration; must maintain a current passport during stay in Iraq.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance, specifically MRPT; applicants with current clearances are preferred.
• Capability to relocate to Iraq for the duration of the project.
• Read, write, and speak English proficiently.

Pay range based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
