Employment Status: Full-Time (.75 or greater)
Hours per Pay Period: 0.90 = 72 hours every two weeks (Non-Exempt)
Starting Wage DOE: $37.41 - 57.71
Compensation and eligibility

Job Summary
Under general supervision, utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, and theoretical/clinical skills in the promotion/maintenance of health. Incorporates evidence-based nursing practices consistent with national standards and which support quality outcomes. Assumes responsibility and accountability for the quality of nursing care. Directs the plan of care while maintaining professionalism.
Essential Job Functions
- Utilize a holistic approach and evidence-based nursing practices to implement the nursing process for the patient and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
- Ensure complete, accurate and timely entry into the patient medical record in line with patient condition and documentation guidelines.
- Adhere to safety standards, policies and practices; anticipate and identify problems and safety issues and initiate appropriate action.
- Maintain skills/knowledge and apply equipment, pharmacology and laboratory values relevant to the area and disease status.
- Apply evidence-based practice within the specialty area and utilize performance improvement principles to assess and improve patient care.
- Incorporate the Magnet Model in transforming the work environment and quality of nursing care.
- Take responsibility for professional growth and complete required training; collaborate and communicate effectively with patients’ families and the care team.
- Consider care appropriate to the population served.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Minimum Associate Degree, ASN
- ASN RNs with less than 5 years of RN experience must commit to completing their Bachelor of Nursing degree within 4 years after hire;
