About the RoleWe’re looking for a versatile, hands-on Marketing & Communications team member to own all aspects of our internal and external marketing. This is a one-person department—perfect for someone who enjoys variety, creativity, and building systems from the ground up. In addition to leading our marketing efforts, this role will support recruitment through job postings, employer branding, and initial candidate screening.

Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing & Branding
- Manage all company social media channels (content creation, posting, engagement)
- Maintain and update the company website (Word Press)
- Create marketing materials: graphics, flyers, brochures, presentations, internal documents
- Oversee brand consistency across apparel, signage, vehicles, and vendor-produced materials
- Develop and maintain a content calendar
- Support community events, sponsor ships, and trade shows
- Capture and curate photos/videos for marketing and recruitment use
Communications
- Draft internal announcements, newsletters, and updates
- Support leadership with messaging and communication templates
- Strengthen company culture through storytelling and employee-focused content
Recruitment Support
- Write and post job ads across multiple platforms
- Manage job board performance and track applicant flow
- Conduct initial phone screens or first-round interviews
- Create recruitment campaigns highlighting culture, benefits, and career paths
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs
- Maintain consistent employer branding across all hiring touchpoints
Required
- Experience in marketing, communications, or a related field
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Ability to manage social media platforms professionally
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe, or similar)
- Comfortable speaking with candidates and conducting initial interviews
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects
Preferred
- Experience with Word Press or website CMS tools
- Familiarity with recruitment or HR processes
- Experience in construction, trades, or service-based industries
- You will partner directly with leadership to develop and steer our marketing strategy
- Your work directly impacts hiring, culture, and brand reputation
- You’ll collaborate with a supportive leadership team that values communication and innovation
- You’ll help shape how our company is seen by employees, candidates, and the community
