- Assist with direction and supervision of Front‑End operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor customer traffic flow, checkout lane coverage, and maintain cleanliness and appearance of the Front‑End area.
- Complete reconciliation processes, including balancing registers, safe transactions, and preparing daily deposit slips.
- Handle administrative duties such as payroll corrections, time‑card audits, and maintaining employee records.
- Manage cash‑flow requirements, approve checks/refunds, and monitor fund handling procedures.
- Serve as liaison for payroll and coordinate leave paperwork, reinstatements, and terminations.
- Provide guidance and training to cashiers, courtesy clerks, and other Front‑End staff.
- Implement emergency procedures for equipment malfunctions and ensure operational readiness.

- Act as an overflow cashier and attend department meetings in the absence of the Front‑End Manager.
