WEAVE Industries – Warren Transport is looking for an Operations Director in BILLINGS, MT!

Warren Transport is looking for an experienced Operations Director. The candidate will report to the COO to effectively manage day-to-day trucking operations. The Operations Director will communicate and promote efficiency, safety, and compliance while proactively engaging with customers and employees on all levels. Regular travel to customer locations and division locations is required.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage trucking operations with responsibility for profitability, growth and customer relations.
  • Possess a strong working knowledge of equipment maintenance/procedures and fleet optimization. Work closely with the Maintenance Director to ensure FMCSA compliance.
  • Understand equipment capabilities in order to work with the COO to prepare bids.
  • Analyze monthly financial data and operating statistics to identify opportunities for improvements. Monitor company spending and provide oversight of AP/AR to ensure appropriate and timely payments.
  • Partner with the Safety Department and Branch Managers to promote a culture of safety. Assist with training and development of employees including site-specific safety, enforcement and overall processes.
  • Candidate must be detail-oriented and possess excellent organizational skills, advanced problem‑solving and decision‑making skills. Superior verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills are required, with the ability to coach and mentor others.
  • Knowledge of federal and state compliance regulations such as DOT, OSHA and MSHA.
  • Degree in business administration or equivalent work experience, Class A CDL and commercial driving experience preferred. Three to five years of management experience, with a minimum of three years in CDL trucking operations required.
