About The RoleWe are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our Front Desk team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment and delivering extraordinary customer service. This is an hourly, full-time position that requires excellent communication skills in English and a passion for hospitality. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and excel under pressure, this role is perfect for you.
What You'll Do- Greet guests warmly and assist with the check-in and check-out process.
- Answer and manage incoming calls, email inquiries, and guest requests professionally and efficiently.
- Assist guests with booking reservations and provide accurate information about rooms, services, and local attractions.
- Handle guest complaints and issues in a polite, proactive manner, ensuring resolution to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Process payments accurately and manage cash, credit card, and billing transactions.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure guest needs are met promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring a professional and welcoming appearance.
- Act as a liaison to connect guests with special services or accommodations as needed.
- Prior customer service experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and reservation software; previous experience with property management systems is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, as required.
- Professional appearance and demeanor, with a focus on providing exceptional guest experiences.
- Strong multitasking and organizational abilities to manage a dynamic work environment.
