Medical Assistant Resident – Sleep and Respiratory Clinic

Location & Shift

Location:

Sleep and Respiratory, Billings, MT.

Shift: Monday–Thursday 7:15 a.m.–5:00 p.m.;
Friday 7:15 a.m.–noon.

Base Pay

$19.00–$26.00 /hr.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clinicians in gathering patient information and providing care under their direction.
  • Communicate clearly with patients via telephone and in-person interactions.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to coordinate care and ensure high quality patient service.
  • Perform clinical tasks such as monitoring, operating equipment, documenting patient care, and supporting patient transport.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare provider on hire.
  • Demonstrated basic computer skills involving word processing and data entry.
  • Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with patients and fellow caregivers to deliver the highest level of patient satisfaction.
  • Ability to protect privacy, confidentiality, and Protected Health Information (PHI).
  • Required to enroll in a Medical Assistant program within six months of hire and complete it within twelve months of enrollment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a clinical role (EMT, CNA, Medic, paramedic).
  • Experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Computer literacy in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other relevant software.
Physical Requirements

Candidate must be able to: see, read and interpret information; assess patient needs; operate monitors and equipment; lift and transfer patients and heavy supplies; stand for extended periods of time; drive a vehicle if required for the role.
