Associate or Area Clinical Consultant – Missoula, MT – Johnson & Johnson Med Tech (Heart Recovery)

Johnson & Johnson Med Tech invites applicants for the Associate or Area Clinical Consultant position based in Missoula, MT. We are dedicated to developing innovative cardiovascular solutions that improve patient outcomes.

We are seeking an experienced clinical consultant to support our Cardiovascular team, focus on the Impella® product portfolio, and partner with interventional cardiologists and surgical teams. The role includes education, training, and attending implant procedures to ensure proper use of our devices.

• Improve patient outcomes through education and training for new and existing accounts.
• Collect clinically relevant data, complete outcome reviews, and communicate findings with team members.
• Acquire comprehensive knowledge of Impella® products and their applications.
• Attend implant procedures and consult clinicians on appropriate device use.
• Set up one‑on‑one physician meetings and host physician/staff dinners to promote product adoption.
• Collaborate with sales counterparts on awareness programs and activities within the franchise.

• 2+ years of direct RN/NP/PA or tech patient support in ICU, Cath Lab, or OR.
• 2+ years of commercial experience with cardiovascular products or technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to advance the sales process with customers.
• Team‑work orientation and effective communication skills.
• Availability for emergent patient care and ability to travel 50% within the territory.
• Compliance with all state and federal medical device regulations.

• Hands‑on Impella support experience.
• Experience as an Abiomed per diem.
• RN license.
• ECMO experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills and advocacy with physicians.
• Clinical training experience.
