Advanced Care Hospital of Montana in Billings, Montana is a freestanding critical care and inpatient rehabilitation hospital providing advanced interdisciplinary care to patients with critical, complex, and recovery-focused medical needs. Our dual mission includes both long-term acute care and comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation. We offer specialized services such as ventilator weaning and respiratory therapy, cardiac monitoring and recovery, complex wound and infection treatment, and intensive rehabilitation for patients regaining strength, mobility, and independence after prolonged ICU stays. Our rehabilitation program includes Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology, tailored to each patient’s unique goals for recovery.

With all private rooms and a highly skilled team—including physicians, ICU/critical care nurses and respiratory therapists—we deliver individualized, compassionate care that supports both medical stability and functional progress. We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our team of passionate patient caregivers!

Professional Growth:

Required Skills:

• Current state license as a Respiratory Therapist required.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• One (1) year recent experience in acute care setting preferred.

Additional Qualifications/Skills:

• Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
• Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
• Demonstrates good judgment, initiative, problem solving, decision making, prioritizing and organizational skills.
• Effective organizational and time management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
• Ability to work closely and professionally with others.
• Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.

Evaluates and treats patients with breathing disorders. Performs lab functions. Assumes primary responsibility for all respiratory care treatments. Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
