PRN Hyperbaric/Wound Care APP – Intermountain Health

Base Pay Range

$54.00/hr - $84.00/hr

Overview

Join Intermountain Health’s team of skilled healthcare professionals in Billings, Montana, to provide hyperbaric and wound care as a physician assistant or nurse practitioner. The role is a PRN position with flexible scheduling for clinicians seeking opportunities to practice in a supportive environment with competitive pay.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and collaborate patient care efforts with other providers.
  • Communicate clinical information timely, accurately, thoroughly, and appropriately to all care team members.
  • Support effective sharing of practice expertise with other providers.
  • Monitor patient status and intervene as needed.

Qualifications
  • Active Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) license issued by the MT State Board.
  • Prescriptive authority by MT State Board of Nursing or Medical Examiners and DEA license.
  • Current BLS certification (American Heart Association).
  • ACLS certification within 6 months of employment (site specific).
  • Successful completion of Intermountain Health credentialing process.
  • Effective communication and diplomatic skills with a multi‑functional team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Physical Requirements
  • Visual acuity and reading ability to assess patient needs and operate monitors.
  • Verbal communication to respond to alarms and patient needs.
  • Manual dexterity for manipulating equipment, typing, medication preparation.
  • Ability to lift, transfer patients, and move supplies up to heavy items.
  • Walk, assist with ambulation, push/pull equipment, navigate busy rooms.
  • Standing for extended periods.
Location & Working Hours

Intermountain Health St. Vincent Regional Hospital, Billings, MT

Hours:

PRN; scheduled weekly hours 0 (flexible). Actual hourly rate based on experience.
