Electrical Lighting & Low Voltage System Designer
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with RCDD and Electrical Engineers on designing low voltage systems.
- Develop construction documents from engineered drawings.
- Utilize Bluebeam, Plangrid, Revit, and BIM Modeling programs.
- Learn and apply relevant codes such as IBC, IFC, NEC, NFPA 72, TIA 568.
- Contribute creatively to improve team processes.
- Work efficiently to meet project timelines while ensuring quality.
- Maintain an open willingness to continuous learning.
- Perform any duties as deemed appropriate by management.
Requirements:
- Willingness to work towards RCDD and/or NICET Fire Alarm Certification.
- AAS or BS in a related field preferred (e.g., construction management, electrical technician, drafting/architecture).
- Experience with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
